Being in the woods, without walls and in a natural environment gave us a new energy and sense of purpose. It 're-set' our ways of thinking and interacting with each other. It was like letting go of a breath we have been holding for a long time.

My team still talk often about our day in the woods and lots of the things we agreed on there have been put into place.

I was surprised at how happy I was to be with the team in person, it felt less tense than being behind a screen. It felt easier to take a step back and make decisions than it would do normally. Some of what we wanted to discuss can't easily be shared by email or online meetings. Nigel did a good job of  asking simple and effective questions to make us think quite deeply about things. There were some nice surprises - making something together to take away was a great touch; the grounding and silence practices were great and much needed... Loved the day and would recommend to anyone, particularly helpful having not seen each other in person for the last 6 months and felt safe.

Stillness, reflection and then inspiration from nature - all rare things in the craziness of the day-to-day. At a time when business as usual is no longer sustainable, this time gave us valuable distance and the headspace and perspective to reevaluate what we do, for tomorrow.

A day very well spent. Nigel and the teams' guidance was carefully delivered, credible and appreciated by all. Thank you, thank you. I’m loving watching the positive ripples from this time now we're 'back to work’

...it was good to find out people’s priorities, and what people really care about. The campfire workshop validated what we’re doing, and it broke down barriers and hierarchies. People had assumed the board want to keep strategic conversations to themselves, and this day helped smash that rumour. Everyone had a voice, and we came up with some great ideas together. I saw the CEO talking to people who've just started, and people who can sometimes clash having a laugh together. People are carrying on with digital detox and nature activities, triggered by our day in the woods.

Such a magical day of reconnecting with the team yesterday. I was reluctant to wash the smoke out of my hair in case it washed away the magic of the forest fires we bonded around. Massive thanks for putting this on for us, and a huge thanks to all the Jolly Crew for committing to the day with such generosity of spirit and openness.

Getting the team out of the office, away from screens and into nature was hugely beneficial. For a few, they were outside their comfort zone, but every single person loved the day, and as an agency it hit our objectives of building team relationships and tackling a business question.

Being outside four walls really helped us, as an already close group, to connect in a deeper way. Being in nature gave us permission to be more open and honest, with ourselves and with what we were hearing.

It was a really useful and interesting day of learning, working together and getting to know colleagues better all in a natural setting.  You could see the positive impact it had on people.  With lots of great ideas formulated at the end of the day to help bring a bit of nature into our daily work lives.

Really special for us to reconnect with each other in and through nature... A palpable sense of calm and togetherness which is still with us a week later.
