Get Started

Unplug and think big

School of the Wild offers immersive outdoor programmes for teams and leaders that can truly transform what you do and the way you work together.

Our core programmes include experiences focused on wellbeing, collaboration, sustainability, and purpose so that you can enjoy better relationships, improved communication, invaluable insights, and fresh perspectives.

Become more connected than ever, get inspired, and create real change in your organisation.

It was quite something, really. I'd highly recommend it - as a leader, a founder, an individual, with your team. Whatever your reason. It gave us all the freedom to talk and share, removed the restrictive confines of buildings and meeting rooms - and not a post-it note or whiteboard in sight!

Bonamy Waddell, Bon Insight

Could your team use a breath of fresh air?

In this digital age, honest, productive conversations without barriers or distraction can often feel close to impossible.

At School of the Wild, we believe in harnessing the power of nature as an antidote to distraction, and as a way to build connection and trust, the
secret sauce of productivity and collaboration, allowing you to focus and bring out the best in each other.

Step beyond the confines of meeting rooms and video calls, and reconnect with your people, your path, and your purpose.

Covid-19/Coronavirus Update

In line with UK Government advice to hold meetings outdoors whenever possible, please contact us if you'd like help with this, and if you're working remotely have a look at our NEW online programmes: Zoom into the Wild and Thinking Like a Forest.

Our programme for teams

After many years of working with organisations we've developed a holistic curriculum for teams, that includes four modules:
• Teamwork + Collaboration
• Wellbeing + Digital Detox
• Sustainability + Social Responsibility
• Legacy + Purpose

While these modules are designed to fit together, they can also be taken individually or in a shorter series depending on your organisational needs.

How do I know which module is right for my organisation?

The best way is to talk to us direct. We'll get to know you, ask lots of questions, and then advise which one or combination would best suit your organisational needs. At the same time we'll identify any specific organisational requirements and provide a tailored solution to ensure these are met.

How an immersion works
Each module is structured around these four-steps:

1. Clarity on your needs
We work with you to get as clear as possible on your team's issues and needs.

2. Campfire experience
The heart of each module is an experience day based around a campfire. The focus is on one of the four topics depending on your needs.

3. Takeaway actions
At the end of the day, you leave with an action plan for continuing the process in your workplace.

4. Follow up support
We stay in touch to support you to embed key learning and provide further advice or tools as needed.

It was like letting go of a breath we have been holding for a long time.

Emma Slawinski, Compassion in World Farming

Transform your business strategy and culture

By fusing fun activities - like foraging, whittling, and cooking together over fire - with a facilitated group workshop, our experience days build deep team connections first, making space for creative and meaningful conversations in ways that would never happen in a meeting room.

Each experience day is designed to help you learn from nature and each other, so that you'll work together better, and find ways to solve today's organisational challenges: teamworking, workplace stress, communication issues and personality clashes, silo working, low engagement, finding purpose, and how to be more sustainable and socially responsible.
