The Way of the Horse
Discover how a meaningful connection with a horse can help you learn
more about yourself
more about yourself
Day workshop: 9am to 3pm
Friday 5th October 2018 - Albourne, East Sussex
Friday 5th October 2018 - Albourne, East Sussex
Horses are very sensitive animals that are in a constant state of awareness and always tuned in to their surroundings, which means they're excellent mirrors for your emotional states.
This is because horses 'feel' you rather than 'think' you. As a result, they're not interested in what you do or who you say you are, they're only interested in what moods, feelings, and actions you bring to them in that moment. And whether your body language, your mood, and what you're saying (or tone of your voice), are aligned. And because these wonderful empathic beings are non-judgemental and non-critical, they enable you to get a better sense of how you connect with yourself, and other people, by authentically reflecting back to you how you are. On this exclusive, hands-on outdoors workshop, led by an equine assisted learning therapist, you will: • Have a meaningful interaction with a horse • Discover a different way to listen to yourself and others • Learn to sense and set appropriate boundaries • Enhance your communication skills • Become more congruent and authentic • Learn ways to listen to and respect your intuition NB: No previous horse experience is required. All work is carried out on the ground and there is no horse riding involved.
