Sustainability + Social Responsibility

Take positive action on social and environmental issues

It's clear that business as usual is no longer an option, so what can you do to make more of a difference? How do you solve environmental and social issues? Is your organisation resilient and ready to adapt to the new economy?

This immersive programme invites your team to think outside the box and spark fresh ideas, in order to thrive in the 21st century.

Work with nature to solve 21st century challenges

Drawing inspiration and learning from nature’s living ecosystems, this immersive outdoor programme explores how you can be more sustainable and socially responsible, and inspires you to come up with practical ways to do it.

This programme is good for organisations who want to:

● make more of a difference
● ask what's possible
● explore spheres of influence and control
● involve staff in generating fresh ideas
● increase productivity,
reduce waste and costs
● rethink the bigger picture of people, planet, profit
● help teams concerned about environmental impact
● be inspired by positive success stories

● reduce their carbon footprint
● bring more CSR into strategy and operations

What happens on the day?

The day starts with activities and exercises designed to show how your connection to nature and each other is deeper than you realise. The exercises also bring everyone together and and get you thinking about what you do and the way you work.

After a shared lunch, we lead you in a collaborative group workshop around the fire, it'll inspire creative thinking, and generate new ideas and practical insights from your whole team so you can come up with ways to be more sustainable and socially responsible, and move forward together.

You'll leave refreshed and inspired, with actions for continuing the process in your workplace.

Group size: from 5 up to 50 people

Questions we help you answer

● Where do you start?

●  What can you do to be more sustainable and responsible?

The benefits of bringing your team into the wild

People who are more connected with nature and who spend more time outdoors, become more environmentally responsible, more concerned, and also happier in their interpersonal relationships. Time in nature really does boost everyone's creative thinking, and improves trust and social cohesion between colleagues.

Locations & What's Included

Pre- and Post- Event:

Before the day, we agree aims, strategy questions, and the itinerary with you.

After the day, we send a report summarising the insights and commitments that you came up with and share any photographs. We also schedule a post-event review call, to make sure the day met your aims and expectations.

Food:

Cooking lunch together is an important part of our programmes. We can cater for most dietary requirements and all food is either organic, free range, additive free, and locally sourced (where possible). We have a plan in place so that no food is wasted.

Locations:

We offer a choice of outdoor locations, including a nature reserve and a woodland in London, and several sites in the beautiful Sussex countryside (just 1 hour from London, and close to Brighton). All have a fire, toilets, and covers in case of wet weather.

Travel:

We encourage travel to the venue by public transport or car sharing.
Alternatively, if you’d like to travel together we can recommend taxis or local coach companies.

Included:

The cost includes hire of the site, all kit and materials, full insurance, food and refreshments, and a team of skilled and engaging facilitators.

Optional Extras:
