Join us on this half day coastal foraging walk - you'll learn about edible wild plants that grow freely by the coast, using all of your senses, then you'll get to try some delicious and wild food that we've prepared for you.
On this coastal foraging walk you'll: • learn ways to tune into your senses • get to know plants using all of your senses • meet and identify lots of wild, abundant, coastal plants that are edible After the walk, you’ll be able to sample teas made from wild herbal plants, try a foraged wild salad, and other tasty wild food that we've prepared. This session is being led by Mike Cutting. Mike has a wealth of plant knowledge and can also talk about bird song, signs of local animal activity, and an appreciation of the whole habitat. Cost: £35/person NB No dogs please, and suitable for anyone age 16+. Meeting point: South Hill Barn Car Park, Seaford BN25 NB please be aware that part of the area we'll be walking in is a nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and the picking of plants in these areas is not allowed. |
