The Song of the Forest
Join us for drumming and singing in the woods
Connecting with nature, drumming and singing deep in a Sussex forest
Half day or full day workshop - Sun Jun 25th, 2017
This workshop gives you the chance to make music in the woods, let go and have fun, and explore ways of connecting with the forest, to let go of your busy-ness, and to relax into the present moment.
We'll sing and play drums and experiment with ways to feel more connected to nature.
We're splitting the day in two, to make it more accessible - come for just the morning (10am to 1.30pm), or for the whole day (10am to 5pm).
Morning only ticket - £26.99
Full day ticket - £50
Both parts of the day will include:
Learn ways to suspend the on-going stream of thoughts and rational analysis, and simply immerse yourself in just being with what is, in order to access an intuitive awareness of the forest and the surroundings.
Tune into a felt sense of your place within the natural world, and develop your capacity to embody this way of being, through a range of simple exercises.
Have fun, make music and communicate with each other and the forest, using drums and other percussion, song, sound and movement - you'll feel more joyful, and more connected with each other and the natural world.
If you come for the whole day, you'll be able to spend more time hanging out in the woods, and to get to make music for longer!
